We started our seventh day in Ireland with a unique experience at the amazing Dromoland Castle — a hawk walk where a hawk swooped down and landed on our hand multiple times. We also met some owls and other raptor species of birds.
Next, we visited King John’s Castle and learned of the numerous battles that took place there over the past 800 years.
We next spent a few minutes strolling through beautiful Adare Town.
We wrapped up our day visiting Ross Castle in Killarney which was nearby our hotel for the night. This town was quite busy with tourists like us milling about. We did find a pub near our hotel where we had a pint and listened to live music.
