Our streak of amazing Ireland weather came to an end on our last day, but we had a long journey back to Dublin, so if we had to have rain, this was the day for it. We started the day with a fun surprise from our tour guide Fra — a lesson in Irish Hurling and Gaelic Football.
After our Irish sports lesson, we visited Torc Waterfall and hiked to the top to view the nearby loche.
Next, we did an abbreviated tour of the famous Ring of Kerry since the normal panoramic views were obscured by clouds and rain.
On our way back to Dublin, we stopped off to explore the quaint town of Kenmare.
For lunch, we stopped off at a travel plaza near Moneygall named after Barrack Obama because of his deep Irish roots traced back to this area. ?
Our final stop on the way back to Dublin was visiting the massive ruins of the Dunamase Castle. The skies cleared for just enough time to tour the ruins and get back to the van. ?
